– Battle Slam – Pupils VS Seniors in the Third Millennium / Pupils vs Seniorie Bizet – February 2022

Orfeo and the slammer Badi joined forces to introduce the youth of “L’Ecole Sans Soucis” to the Slam !

Through a series of meetings, exchanges and writing, the young people had the opportunity to express their creativity and create a project that was then presented at the IIIrd Millennium Day Care Center.

This intergenerational project also took place during the Carnival vacations with the youth of the PCS Akarova and the seniors of the Séniorie bizet.

The slam used as a unifying element managed to create a bridge and exchanges between these different generations while deconstructing existing prejudices and stereotypes.

– Orfeo and PCS Akarova

In February, Orfeo and PCS Akarova began a new collaboration with the implementation of a series of weekly activities for the youth of the Akarova site.

The goal was to mobilize the youth in various artistic activities as well as to promote social cohesion.

They were introduced to several disciplines: beatbox, hip-hop dance, mixing, slam and graffiti !

Orfeo was present at the D’Broej youth centre for a classical music concert in which young people from the Molenbeek neighbourhood and newcomers were able to discover the duo Suzie and Federico !
