“Cello and violin duo – jazz standards, film music, classical music, Latin American music – Dorelle plays the cello and the piano from a very young age, first at the Conservatoire de Boulogne Billancourt in Paris with Michel Strauss and further at the Namur Conservatory, in Mainz with Manuel Fischer-Dieskau and in Brussels with Amy Norrington.
For her, art in general has a particularly important role in life. After a year of Erasmus in Germany, she currently completes her Masters in Leuven, at Lemmensinstituut.
Characterized by a strong curiosity in the multiple forms of art, Dorelle also obtained a diploma in graphic and visual design – 3D illustrations – in addition to her musical education.
Passionate about chamber music and jazz, Dorelle is mainly active in duet with the violinist Esther Fischer and founder of the brand-new string quartet IKOS Quartet. In addition, Dorelle is a socially engaged musician and strives to bring music to a diverse and sometimes interactive audience, which has brought her from hospitals and social centers to projects in Ecuador.
