Laurent Taquin

After training in mime, clown, acrobat where he distinguished himself with the Duo des frères
Taquin wins the Jury Prize at the Festival de Rochefort and Palme d’Or at the Festival du Cirque d’Hiver in Paris.

He left the duo after 4 years. Self-taught, learns the saxophone and studies with his great masters of African American jazz as well as world music (Fabrizio Cassol).
After 4 years of training in improvisation, Laurent carries out various projects:

• The Zoublistan caravan, street show and burlesque musical ritual.
• Monumental interactive installations with the public
• Les Nénuph’air, a show on the water
• The interactive installationA Drop of Water
• ​Hakuna, theatrical show

He meets and collaborates for 30 years with Baudoin Dejaar.
He participates in each Biennale of the Zinneke parade for coordinations
artistic, construction and development of floats as well as as a coach on a whole
parade as a musical scenographer.
