Stéphane Salkin “JAZZ POP TRIO” (quartet, trio or duo possible)
Here is jazz sung in pure style, here is soul-funk to make the chairs dance, here is blues-funk to let scream Danish, Japanese, Norwegian, Chinese, American, French, English, Russian, Ukrainian, Manchu, Siberian, Colombian tourists…
In the Repertory : George Benson, Stevie Wonder, Prince, James Brown, Ray Charles, Herbie Hancock, Bill Withers, Otis Redding, Ronny Jordan, as well as standards sung by Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr, Michael Bubble, George Benson, Diana Krall. …
We try to promote jazz and the links that can be made through other styles of music, like funk, soul, blues.
We would like to bring the public to discover that jazz is not a music difficult to access, but which is lived day by day, which vibrates with the energy of the song and the guitar (accompanied by ‘a double bass and a drums)
With the possible crosses between the different styles, we can present the songs in a completely new aspect compared to what we are used to hearing.
The goal is to mix swing and groove so that they make just one music, namely the one that takes us towards movement, dance, with original instrumental arrangements!
